Key Responsibilities
* Design and Review
* Create and review road and highway designs using industry-standard software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or 12D.
* Evaluate compliance with standards, guidelines, and specifications throughout the design and project execution process.
* Collaboration and Project Management
* Work collaboratively with project managers, structural engineers, and other team members to deliver integrated solutions for major highway projects.
* Develop project plans, technical specifications, and tender documentation to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Technical Expertise
* Conduct detailed engineering calculations and analysis for roadworks, intersections, and other civil infrastructure elements.
* Lead feasibility studies and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
* Negotiate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and approvals are obtained.
* Presentation of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Quality Assurance
* Review designs and documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.
* Maintain adherence to safety and environmental regulations during project delivery.
* Integration of sustainable engineering practices into designs to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource efficiency.
