This is a permanent, full-time position that focuses on fostering academic development and improvements in social and emotional development for students. The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a school culture that promotes positive relationships between students and between students and staff.
About the Role
The Principal will engage parents and the wider community in the educational work of the school. Principals are responsible for being innovative and creative in the establishment of systems and structures to foster academic development and improvements in social and emotional development for students.
Key responsibilities include engaging a diverse school community in the educational programs of the school and developing the instructional program, particularly the pedagogy of beginning teachers. Building networks with other agencies, other schools, and services in the community is also an essential aspect of this role.
