About The Role:
We have an exciting full-time, fixed-term opportunity is available to join the Sexual and Reproductive Health Team as a Community Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurse in Dandenong, providing essential sexual and reproductive health services across the community.
Full-Time, fixed-term opportunity 23 March 2026 to 26 February 2027
* A 7pm finish on a Thursday evening is required as part of the role.
The role is primarily based at the Dandenong Thomas Street site, with services also being delivered on Fridays at Cranbourne Community Hospital, the ability to travel across all Monash Health sites as required is a requirement.
This role provides direct nursing support and administrative support for Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub Clinics and Youth Health Hubs.
The Community Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurse is responsible for clinical outcomes and the administrative functions of clinic management, under the direction of the Nurse Team Leader. The Community Sexual & Reproductive Health Nurse will function as a member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team to promote an integrated and holistic service. The Community Health Nurse will have excellent clinical skills, specifically related to sexual and reproductive health, ensuring the delivery of best-practice health care services.
This role requires excellent administrative, IT, organisational, and communication skills, the ability to work independently and a commitment to improving the delivery of health services for patients, particularly vulnerable and at-risk women.
About Us:
The Monash Health Youth and Family Program comprises four teams
* Sexual and Reproductive Health Team
* Forensic Mental Health in Community Health
* Youth Services Team
* Multi-Disciplinary Centre Nursing
The four teams are made up of numerous health disciplines. The interdisciplinary team is committed to working with vulnerable and marginalised people and adults by providing high-quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace client-centred, trauma-informed practice and evidence-based services.
About You:

You are passionate about working with community health priority groups: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, refugees, people experiencing homelessness, those with disabilities, the LGBTIQ+ community, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people to provide:
* Nursing assessments
* Cervical Screening Tests
* Administrative support
* Referral management
* Group Programs
You must have:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Australian working rights
* Ability to travel across all Monash Health sites as required
