Mechanical engineer

About the Role
The role of a Mechanical Engineer is to design, develop, and test mechanical systems with a focus on enhancing performance and reliability. This includes working on composites product development and prototyping, ensuring the creation of durable and efficient materials for various applications.
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Product conceptualization / ideation
* Mechanical concepts
* Detail design & engineering
* Prototyping, testing and review
* FEM analysis
* Specification and documentation
* OTS review/reports
* Product issues review and assessment
* Production implementation
* CAD File development and management
* Interface with and evaluate suppliers
What You'll Bring

Qualifications
* Academic Degree (Masters, Bachelor or relevant experience)
* Solid 3D-CAD experience (Solidworks)
* Comprehensive NPD experience
* Composites design and production experience
* Understanding of quality management systems
* CNC injection moulding
* Materials specification / surface finishes
* Ability to multi-task and determine priorities
* Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
* Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
* Analytical and creative thinker
