An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contaminated Land Consultant with 3-8 years in the industry to join the Land Quality and Remediation discipline in Perth.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary consultants across our Brisbane office and the rest of the Land Quality and Remediation consultants across APAC including contaminated site auditors and technical specialists comprising principal hydrogeologists, risk assessors, chemists, and environmental/remediation engineers to deliver quality contaminated land services to our Queensland and National clients.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
* Undertaking field work including but not limited to soil, surface water, groundwater and gas sampling
* Responsible for design and leadership of soil and groundwater sampling programs
* Project management – delivery of project efficiently and effectively to reach our clients goals and internal KPI's
* Manage and build internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Efficiently analyse and interpret complex problems to develop appropriate solutions for clients and team
* Prepare and deliver highly detailed tenders/proposals.
Skills and Experience
* A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree and circa 3-8 years of professional experience in consulting or similar industry role
* Proven capability in environmental and contamination management including soil and groundwater remediation and soil science withing the mining and oil and gas sectors.
* A high level of commercial acumen and proven success in developing winning proposals and client relationship management.
* Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management and manipulation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skill, both written and verbal
* Self-motivated and ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Hold a current and unrestricted Driver's Licence in Western Australia with an excellent driving history
* Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
