The Country Chef Bakery Co. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team in our brand-new facility in Bells Creek on the Sunshine Coast.

About This Opportunity
The Quality department at The Country Chef Bakery Co. is responsible for leading a food safety culture by working collaboratively with the operations team and supporting them with problem solving.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager supports the business by driving the implementation, communication and understanding among production personnel regarding quality, food safety and compliance requirements. This will be achieved through observation, training, testing, and mentoring, among others.
Main responsibilities will be:
* Conduct and reports on routine audits, inspections and reviews as required.
* Conducts regular Root Cause Analysis on issues found and carry out Corrective Actions.
* Provides internal training to new and existing staff as required.
* Assist in maintain site HACCP Program, Quality Management System and Document Control System.
* Coordinates external audits.
* Undertakes investigations of customer complaints.
* Assist in site compliance requirements and validation / verification activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive, action focussed, improvement culture in line with company values.
* Demonstrates strong understanding of current systems and processes.
* Build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders by always demonstrating the company Values.
* Take responsibility for learning and development to grow expertise in current systems and processes.
About You
We are looking for candidates with a continuous improvement mindset, who possess the following criteria:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Applied Science (Food Science), or other similar field
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Management role within the FMCG industry
* Internal and external Auditor qualifications are a must
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Be a champion for quality and food safety culture
* High level of initiative and motivation
