Facilities & Building Projects Role | Hands-On, High-Impact Opportunity We’re working with a highly regarded organisation based in Brisbane’s inner suburbs, offering a rare chance to step into a broad operational role overseeing built assets and supporting capital works. This is ideal for someone from a facilities, construction, or property background who enjoys variety, autonomy, and real responsibility. The Opportunity: This role blends day-to-day facilities oversight with the coordination of building-related projects — think defect rectifications, refurbishments, minor capital works, and maintenance programs. You’ll work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure properties are compliant, well-maintained, and operationally sound. What You’ll Be Doing Managing reactive and planned maintenance across residential or corporate property assets Coordinating small-to-mid scale building projects, including refurbishments and defect rectifications Liaising with contractors, trades, consultants, and internal stakeholders across multiple sites Ensuring safety, compliance, and asset performance are maintained to high standards Keeping registers, schedules, and reporting documentation up to date and accurate Supporting senior leadership with operational and project-related priorities What We’re Looking For Experience in property, facilities management, construction, or building services Solid understanding of compliance, contractor management, and basic project processes Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills Comfortable travelling to sites as needed and splitting time between office and on-site activity Practical, solution-focused, and highly accountable Please note: This is not a corporate, finance, or IT project role.
