Our Global Corporate Procurement team is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join the APAC team based in Sydney. In this role, you will create and implement sourcing strategies for multiple categories, collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to drive efficiencies that reduce risks and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop robust regional procurement category strategies that deliver value to the business by understanding customer requirements and analyzing category data.
* Manage multiple indirect categories for our APAC region, including Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Security, FM, and provide in-depth knowledge about the supply market and supplier capabilities.
* Ensure speedy execution of RFPs/tenders across multiple countries from supplier on-boarding to proposal evaluations and negotiations.
* Provide commercial and procurement advice to internal stakeholders and manage supplier relationships, including the resolution of issues and disputes.
