About the role
The Level 2 Occupational Therapist, as part of a multidisciplinary team, is accountable for the provision of occupational therapy services and participates in departmental educational, quality improvement and planning activities.
These lead to improved clinical outcomes for the patients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC), Repatriation Health Precinct (RHP), Glenside Health Services, and community and ambulatory services or programs.
The Level 2 Occupational Therapist demonstrates a proficient level of professional knowledge. They may be required to provide professional/clinical supervision to AHP1 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, undergraduate and post-graduate Occupational Therapy students, and work experience students.
Qualifications
4. Appropriate degree or equivalent which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA).
