**Job Summary**

At Moog Australia, we are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join the team at our Heatherton Office in Melbourne.

The HR Manager will proactively identify, define, and implement appropriate HR initiatives that enable the business to increase performance.

You will work closely with the Site Leadership Team and HR colleagues globally to deliver comprehensive HR expertise to the business in support of achieving strategic plans for the business.

You will lead the people management agenda and have overall accountability for the successful delivery of new and existing HR initiatives for the Site and you will also contribute to strategy, policy alignment and decision-making that encompasses areas beyond HR.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Develop strong partnerships with the senior leadership team and provide effective, value-added support to the team that is focused on enabling business performance. Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution, and ongoing development and delivery of that strategy.
- Implement and facilitate HR strategies aligned with the Group, Sector and Site to foster employee engagement and support. Continually challenge the status quo and introduce new processes/practices or amend current ways of working to aid delivery of business strategy and help the business be financially successful and hit corporate objectives.
- Provide leadership and expertise in organizational development, organizational design and change management for the Site. Continuously review the organization effectiveness and identify / implement changes needed to ensure the organization is set up to succeed.
- Take ownership in supporting Group/Sector Talent Initiatives (& subsequent actions) of critical talent management areas such as the Talent Review Process (talent matrix / talent profile), performance management process and succession planning process. Own the talent pool and ensure that the talent pipeline and bench strength is continuously improved to meet future business needs.
- Engender a best practice approach to people management, acting as coach, facilitator, and role model. Act as the guardian of the Moog Culture and Philosophy.
- Take ownership and proactively manage and control employee metrics. Ensure and ensure that data integrity standards are upheld, and actions are taken as needed to align with the business initiatives.
- Take ownership of the successful delivery and implementation of 'business as usual' activities. Lead the implementation of Group wide or Moog wide projects that may have an impact on the Site.
- Collaborate and work in partnership with other HR areas (HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR IT, Learning & Development, Defense Sector and Corporate HR Team, etc.) in the development and continual improvement of policies, processes, and initiatives. Be the voice of the business with respect to other parts of HR.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law and ensuring line managers are up to date with any change in policy. Advising on applicable country/location employment law.
- Provide expertise in advising on pay and other issues, including promotion and benefits, Overall responsibility of compensation and benefits administration
- Establish and promote communication and social interaction among employees in ways that foster team and company spirit and the achievement of team and company objectives.
- Overall responsibility for records administration; Ensure that all information in our recordkeeping systems is accurate and complete.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in HR and/or Business is required.
- Professional HR Certification is an advantage but not required.
- 5+ year's specific HR experience including recruitment, compensation, performance management, employee development, employee/labour relations, legal/compliance.
- Proven specific capabilities in: HR, Coaching, Conflict resolution, Employment Law & Marketing.
- Experience in: Business and International strategy; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; organizational ability; facilitation skills; presentation skills.
- Team builder and proponent of the Moog Culture. Well versed in managing a team in line with the Moog culture, style, and processes.
- In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance.
