A reputable national wholesaler for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry is seeking a skilled sales engineer to join their team in Western Australia.
About the Position
The successful applicant will be involved in technical support, designing new projects, and dealing directly with a wide customer base in the branches, over the phone, via email, and on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC&R technician looking to transition into a sales engineer position and apply their practical and theoretical knowledge to our customer base.
Responsibilities
* Selecting refrigeration equipment for specific applications
* Problem-solving and providing solutions for breakdown/service situations
* Building and strengthening new and existing customer relationships
* Generating and driving project proposals
* Becoming an expert across our core product range to ensure customers are confident in product features, models, and technical details
* Working alongside suppliers and internal departments to satisfy/fulfil customer requests
* Facing customers, webinars, and onsite visits
Requirements and Qualifications
* Interest in developing strategies to improve services and increase efficiency
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Interest in creating and maintaining customer relationships
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects
* Self-motivated attitude with a passion for success
