Account Executive / Sales Executive – B2B Consulting, CRM & HubSpot (Remote)
This is a full-cycle Account Executive role focused on selling consulting and professional services, not transactional software.
Candidates should have experience selling projects with a minimum deal size of $5K-$25K.
As an Account Executive, you will own the sales process from initial discovery through to close, working closely with consultants, solution architects, and delivery leads to scope and sell tailored services. Your role is to deeply understand a prospect's business challenges, connect those challenges to the right mix of services, and build solutions that deliver long-term value.
You will sell services including:
* HubSpot onboarding and implementation
* CRM migrations and integrations
* Revenue Operations (RevOps) and go-to-market consulting
* Ongoing retainers and managed services
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solution selling, strategic conversations, and building trust with senior stakeholders — rather than high-volume, transactional sales.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the Full Sales Cycle
* Manage B2B sales opportunities end-to-end, from lead qualification and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
* Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting
* Drive deals forward with momentum, clarity, and strong follow-through
Lead Consultative Discovery
* Run structured discovery calls with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, IT, and C-level stakeholders
* Identify root causes behind issues such as poor CRM adoption, siloed data, inefficient handoffs, lack of reporting, or underperforming tech stacks
* Translate business goals into clear, outcome-focused solutions
Sell High-Value Consulting & Services
* Scope and sell HubSpot onboarding, CRM implementations, migrations, integrations, and RevOps services
* Co-create proposals and statements of work in collaboration with consultants and delivery teams
* Clearly articulate value, outcomes, timelines, and investment to prospects
Collaborate Internally & Externally
* Work closely with consultants, strategists, and delivery leads to ensure scope accuracy and value alignment
* Collaborate with HubSpot's partner and channel teams on co-sell opportunities
* Ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery and stay connected to account health
Build Long-Term Client Relationships
* Sell with a long-term mindset, focusing on partnership rather than one-off deals
* Identify expansion, upsell, and retainer opportunities where genuine value exists
* Maintain high responsiveness, professionalism, and trust throughout the buyer journey
Maintain Strong Sales Discipline
* Keep CRM (HubSpot) records clean, current, and accurate
* Track activity, pipeline stages, and forecasts consistently
* Use data to improve performance and decision-making
* Power user level experience with HubSpot CRM platform is required
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
* 2–5+ years' experience in B2B sales as an Account Executive, Sales Executive, or Business Development Manager
* Proven experience selling consulting, professional services, or solution-based offerings
* Strong discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skills
* Experience managing a pipeline and closing deals end-to-end
* Ability to engage confidently with multiple personas, including senior stakeholders and executives
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)
* Experience selling CRM, HubSpot, RevOps, MarTech, or SaaS-adjacent services
* Background in a consultancy, agency, or professional services firm
* HubSpot or CRM certifications (Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Solutions Partner Sales)
* Experience scoping implementation projects, retainers, or managed services
* Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, Asana, and Loom
