About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Store person to join our friendly team located at Truganina. This role is casual, Monday to Friday.
The Storeperson will be required to carry out all of the duties associated with their relevant classification including but not limited to, the efficient and accurate picking, packing, despatching, receiving, checking, replenishment, inventory and distributing of customer orders ready for guaranteed next day delivery, as per Company policy. Employees are also required to carry out other duties reasonably required by the Company that the employee is skilled and capable of performing.
Key Responsibilities
* Full case picking
* Ensure all items on picking slip have been picked correctly and make alterations as required
* Ensure all goods are packed in a safe and professional manner, and all parcels are correctly labelled
* Ensure all completed orders are transferred to the correct designated pick up area's
* Constructive participation in all meetings
* Complete all internal and external training programs mutually agreed upon
* Co-operate with all policies, procedures, and other provisions implemented by COS to bring about compliance to relevant OHS and Injury Management legislation
* Identify and report all hazards using established procedures
* Report all injuries, accidents, and "near misses" using established incident reporting procedures

To qualify for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
* Tugger experience essential
* Experience working in a fast moving warehouse environment
* Strong sense of safety and a good understanding of warehouse OHS requirements
* A current Forklift licence with high reach experience is highly preferred
* You are a driven and passionate individual
* High level of attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team
* Basic Computer Skills including data entry
