* Help shape reforms that improve access to justice across Victoria. * Lead policy work that supports the Attorney-General's priorities. * Enjoy varied projects that influence the justice system at a state level. * Build strong partnerships while solving complex public policy problems. * Fixed-term, full-time role for 3 years, earning $116,413 - $140,849 per year, plus super. What you will do As senior policy officer, you will help improve Victoria's justice system through policy reform and funding initiatives. You will work across projects that support better outcomes for the legal assistance sector and the broader community. You will: * develop and implement practical policy proposals, programs and initiatives * provide high-quality advice on policy, performance and reform matters * prepare cabinet and parliamentary documents and draft complex ministerial correspondence * build productive relationships to support policy and reform projects * work flexibly across projects while contributing to a positive team culture. About you A qualification in law, policy development or project management is desirable. You will bring experience in policy work, governance, program management or related fields. Knowledge of Victorian Government processes and law will also support your success. You should also have: * sound policy development and governance experience * strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills * the ability to use data to support decision-making * genuine interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
