Overview
Senior Delivery Practice Manager - Global Accounts, AWS Industries. The Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) is a key people management role within the ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT). They bridge our sales and delivery teams to ensure we meet customer objectives. They collaborate with the CST team to ensure delivery capabilities through technical validation during the pre-sales stage. The DPM leads a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers to deliver successful projects and foster long-term customer relationships while supporting enterprise customers through transformative IT projects. They combine solid people leadership with deep technical expertise.
To achieve the desired outcomes, DPMs must be comfortable (1) managing a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers, and (2) supporting AWS enterprise customers through a variety of transformative projects. DPMs bring diverse people leadership experience from IT and/or Management Consulting, with knowledge of the industry IT landscape. They act as strategic advisors to sellers, customers, and partners, crafting innovative, forward-looking strategies and multi-step go-to-market plans to help customers lead changes to IT strategy, policies, processes, people, governance and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions.
- Engage with customers and partners to understand business outcomes, build trust, and drive delivery against commitments.
- Collaborate with Global Accounts sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships and influence decisions in key markets (Korea, Australia) to drive AWS adoption.
- Sell consulting engagements spanning from on-site projects to large-scale cloud migrations and infrastructure automation.
- Coach and teach across AWS Global Accounts sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers adopt AWS services.
- Deliver high-quality delivery of customized engagements with partners and Global Accounts customers.
- Attract and develop top technology talent to build high-performing delivery teams with strong customer relationships.
- Act as a customer advocate, conveying partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering for roadmaps.

The AWS Industries team focuses on helping industry customers enable their digital transformation journeys, meeting customers in their cloud journeys and transforming businesses and industries based on industry-specific needs. The team emphasizes business outcomes and industry use cases in product, sales, delivery, and partnerships.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of progressive technology implementation experience, highly technical and analytical
- Robust customer relationship management, sales, delivery, and collaboration skills
- Strategic thinking about business, product, and technical challenges
- Consulting practice leadership
- Deep understanding of cloud transformation and change management
- Enterprise architecture experience including virtualization and distributed architectures
- Familiarity with archive, disaster recovery, and business continuity in global operations
- Familiarity with compliance and security standards across enterprise IT
Preferred Qualifications
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth for this role
- Visible IT industry thought leadership on enterprise IT infrastructure topics
- Experience in vertical IT sales and delivery for Financial Services
- Experience designing modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
- Business development experience with complex agreements with integrators and ISVs
- International sales and delivery experience with global Fortune 500 customers and partners
- Experience using AWS services in distributed environments with major tech vendors
