This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments may be extended or become permanent. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 10 November 2026.
What is our Speech Pathologist role?
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties, and plan optimum speech pathology management.
- Provide excellent, consumer-focused Speech Pathology care to an allocated caseload.
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Work closely with Speech Pathology colleagues to prioritise workload.
We have services across 7 days and weekend work may be required.

Eligibility to Apply
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for permanent positions in the public sector. For fixed term or casual appointments, you must have documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the contract duration.
