Join us at Respect Aged Care for a fulfilling 6-month contract supporting recruitment across a growing, purpose-driven organisation.Why this role?We're seeking a confident and capable Recruitment Specialist to step into a key role during a period of parental leave. You'll be supporting our existing recruitment team and partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess and onboard top talent across our growing footprint in aged care and community services.This is a great opportunity to contribute your expertise while working with a passionate, down-to-earth team that genuinely cares about people. As a proud not-for-profit, our goal is simple: to create environments where every older person feels respected, valued, and at home.We're growing fast, with aged care homes, retirement villages and home care services across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Western Australia and soon, Queensland and need a recruitment professional who can help us bring in the right people as we continue to expand.About the OpportunityYou'll work across a broad portfolio of roles, from clinical care and hospitality to corporate services - every placement you support has a tangible impact on the lives of older Australians.Key responsibilities include:End-to-end recruitment for roles across the organisationPartnering with hiring managers to develop sourcing and selection strategiesWriting and posting job ads that attract the right candidatesScreening applicants, scheduling interviews, and supporting assessmentsCoordinating reference checks, background screening, and onboarding stepsAnswering candidate enquiries and providing a great recruitment experienceAdvising on recruitment policy, systems and continuous improvementSupporting the Talent Acquisition Manager on broader projects as neededWhat You Will BringAt least 3 years' experience in a recruitment role (in-house or agency)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple roles, priorities and stakeholders with easeConfident working autonomously but collaborative by natureComfortable using recruitment platforms and systems (we use JobAdder)Understanding of recruitment compliance and employment legislationExperience in aged care, health or community services (desirable)Familiarity with industrial instruments or award interpretation (desirable)You'll also need (or be willing to obtain):A current National Police CheckAged Care Worker Screening clearanceWhy Work with Us?Purpose-driven work that mattersFlexible and supportive work cultureNot-for-profit salary packaging = boost your take-home payLearning and development opportunitiesStrong organisational values and a genuinely positive cultureAccess to discounted private health insuranceOur ValuesWe're guided by:Respect Care Teamwork Courage Integrity Innovation Excellence
