About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a food retailer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our products are consistently of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste
* Ensure that all products are consistently of high quality by inspecting them before they go on sale and reporting any defects or damage to management
* Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a retail environment, preferably in the food industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
* Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving sales targets
* Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
