We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join us as a Contractor Assessor across the Northern Territory.
About the Role (Contractor Position)
As an independent contractor, you will complete high-quality assessments within your region, with flexibility to manage your own schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting Supported Wage System (SWS) assessments for productivity-based wage evaluations.
Delivering Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA) to help participants maintain sustainable employment.
Completing Workplace Modifications Scheme (WMS) assessments, recommending equipment, adjustments, and assistive technologies.
Preparing clear, accurate, and timely assessment reports.
Collaborating with employers, DES providers, and allied health professionals to achieve effective outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with the National Standards for Disability Services and all legislative requirements.
About You
You are a detail-focused and organised allied health professional who values fairness, transparency, and inclusion.
You work independently and produce high-quality, evidence-based assessments.
You'll bring:
A Diploma or higher qualification in: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
Relevant professional registration or membership (AHPRA, ESSA, AASW etc.).
Minimum 1 year's experience in disability employment, workplace assessments, rehabilitation, or related fields.
Strong written skills, IT capability, and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC (or willingness to obtain).
Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Experience in Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation or Vocational programs will be highly regarded.
Occupational Therapists are strongly encouraged to apply due to assessment requirements.
