The role of a Highway Infrastructure Specialist encompasses overseeing and managing third-party access to road, stormwater, cycling, and footpath infrastructure across the municipality. This critical position ensures that access and restoration activities comply with municipal engineering standards and relevant legislation.

* Assess and manage applications for road openings, footpath occupations, filming permits, hoardings, and other road reserve uses.
* Provide technical guidance and enforce conditions under the Roads Act (Section 138).
* Monitor developer and contractor compliance, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.
* Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure and highway authority responsibilities.
* Proven experience in managing access to and impacts on public infrastructure.
* Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
