About the role:
The Environmental Technician will play a key, hands on role supporting the Environment team with field-based monitoring and environmental reporting obligations on site at the Hillside Project.
You will undertake a range of tasks including:
* Undertake on-site environmental monitoring and maintain field equipment, and support the tracking and administration of PEPR commitments to ensure compliance with approval conditions.
* Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with approval conditions and environmental management plans.
* Collect environmental samples (dust, water, soil, noise) in accordance with approved monitoring methodologies.
* Record and maintain environmental monitoring data within company systems and registers.
* Provide data and input for internal and external reporting
Experience required:
* Demonstrated work experience in an operational environment.
* Work experience with environment monitoring equipment, or similar preferred.
