The Thomas More Law School is a national law school and its programs global, ethical and practical in focus, built on a commitment to the rule of law, personal dignity and the common good. A strong pro‐bono program, engagement with international human rights bodies and established research clusters in Human Rights, Access to Justice, Commercial Law and Just Societies position the school as a leader in values‐driven legal education.

Reporting to the Dean of Law, the Deputy Dean plays a key leadership role within the school by supporting the effective implementation of its courses and programs and contributing to the overall coherence of academic operations. The role provides leadership across curriculum development, unit coordination, accreditation and quality assurance and contributes to the school's performance in learning and teaching, research, research training and community engagement in alignment with faculty and university priorities.

The successful candidate will hold a doctorate in law (or substantial progress toward completion at Level C) and demonstrate a significant academic profile across teaching and research, including competitive grant success and innovation in curriculum design and delivery.

Experience in an academic leadership role, including the supervision and development of staff and involvement in budget planning and resource allocation, will be essential. A clear commitment to advancing ACU's Mission and values will be essential to success.

An appointment will be made at academic level C, D or E, dependent on the successful candidate's level of experience, expertise and qualifications.
