We’re looking for dynamic and enthusiastic OSHC Childcare Educators for our Echuca programs who know how to bring the fun!
As our educator, you’ll be the driving force behind exciting activities and experiences that ignite children’s imaginations and keep them engaged after school. If you’re ready to laugh, play, and create memories that last a lifetime, this is the job for you! The relationships and experiences you can create at this service are ENDLESS! Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire the educational program, ensuring smooth daily routines.
2. Plan and execute a variety of fun and interactive activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures.
3. Be the ultimate mentor, engaging in games and activities with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
4. Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
5. Unleash your creativity to develop new and exciting program ideas that keep kids coming back for more.
6. Work collaboratively with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
7. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, while keeping the fun alive!
Qualifications:
1. Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification), or willingness to obtain.
2. Cert 3 in ACEQUA approved qualification.
3. Relevant qualifications in fields such as Education, Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Science, Youth Work, or Health/Allied Health.
4. Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
5. Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
6. A flair for thinking outside the box and bringing fresh ideas to life.
7. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting is a plus.

Additional Information:
1. You’ll need to provide 2 professional references.
2. Varied shift times are available between 6:30am-9am and 2:30pm-6:30pm during the school term, and 6:30am-6:30pm during school holidays.
