Mutimer is expanding and we are looking for a Retail Assistant to join our growing team, based in Collingwood. This role is focused on delivering an in-store experience that reflects the Mutimer brand and goes above and beyond. You will work closely with the Store Manager and team to maintain store standards, support daily operations and provide a high level of customer service This is an opportunity to be part of Mutimer's first physical retail space and contribute directly to how the brand is experienced in person.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times, creating a welcoming, considered, and on-brand in-store experience.
* Assist customers with product knowledge, sizing, and styling advice, ensuring they feel confident in their purchases.
* Support the day-to-day operation of the store including opening and closing procedures, point of sale transactions, and general store upkeep.
* Maintain store presentation to Mutimer's visual merchandising and cleanliness standards, ensuring the space reflects the brand at all times.
* Assist with stock handling including receiving deliveries, restocking the floor, organising the back of house, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
* Identify low stock, size gaps, and fast-selling items, and communicate these observations to the Retail Manager.
* Support product launches, in-store activations, and busy trading periods by ensuring the store is prepared and running smoothly.
* Handle customer enquiries, returns, and exchanges in line with Mutimer's policies and brand standards.
* Follow store processes and systems correctly (POS, stock systems, reporting tools) to ensure operational consistency.
* Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, efficient, and high-performance store environment.
