Job Title: Senior Nutritionist
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will provide high-level, generalist nutrition services across the continuum of care within a rural and remote setting.
* This position delivers evidence-based clinical care, supports service development activities, and contributes to safe, high-quality patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards and organisational priorities.
* You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with clinicians, patients, carers, and community stakeholders to deliver culturally safe, person-centred services.
* The role also has a leadership component, providing clinical guidance, supervision, and support to staff and students within the Nutrition team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide expert nutrition advice to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers.
* To develop and implement nutrition programs and services that meet the needs of diverse populations.
* To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and dietetics.

* Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance.
* 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading/bonus
* Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance
Qualifications and Experience:
* A Bachelor degree or higher in Nutrition or a related field.
* Postgraduate qualifications or experience in a relevant area would be highly regarded.
* Current registration as a practicing Dietitian with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated experience working in a rural or remote setting.
Work Environment:
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team.
* Collaborating with clinicians, patients, carers, and community stakeholders.
