We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Receptionist/ Shire Liaison Officer to join our team at First Homebuilders' head office in Balcatta, Western Australia. In this full‑time position, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and supporting our operations. Your role will involve acting as a liaison between the company and the local shire, ensuring smooth communication and compliance with relevant regulations.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
* Answering and directing incoming phone calls efficiently
* Monitoring and managing the visitor sign‑in and sign‑out process
* Providing administrative support, including booking meetings and managing calendars
* Liaising with the local shire on behalf of the business, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication
* Assisting with other office duties as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the construction or property industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Proficient in using office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge of local government regulations and procedures would be highly advantageous
