About The Role
Holmesglen Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their close-knit Critical Care team on a permanent part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure we provide high levels of patient care. If successful, you must be available to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.
Responsibilities
 * Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
 * Demonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
 * Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
 * Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
 * Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
 * Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
 * Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Essential Criteria
 * Current AHPRA registration
 * Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED
 * Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
 * Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
 * Excellent communication skills
