Aged Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. Working closely with the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the collaborative healthcare team, the Aged Care Workers will provide person-centred care to support the older persons.

About you

- sensitive and adaptable to older persons different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances
Role requirements
- certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care or equivalent qualification
- experience working in an Aged Care residential facility (desirable)
- experience working in remote areas (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
- a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
- current flu vaccination (recommended)
About the offer
This is a remote position in the Lower Gulf on a 6 week on 2 week off rotating roster.
This roleprovides significant overtime opportunities; on average our aged care workers annual remuneration is around $148k plus super.
