Position Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Cheltenham
Employment Type: 8 Weeks short term, full time hours
Pay rate:$49 p/h + super
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
You will work closely with managers to deliver accurate monthly reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and Council policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and variance analysis
* Support managers with budgeting and forecasting processes
* Contribute to annual reporting, including performance statements
* Manage investment portfolio in line with policy and cash flow requirements
* Ensure data integrity and recommend system enhancements
* Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and processes
About You
* CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
* 3–5 years' experience in financial/management accounting
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and statutory reporting expertise
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., TechnologyOne)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
