Situated in the Tuggeranong Valley, Bonython Primary School is a P-6 school with approximately 422 students. The school’s motto of learning with purpose and passion underpins the belief that students learn best when there is meaning, context and high levels of engagement and empowerment. Bonython Primary School is a supportive learning environment where students are challenged to achieve their personal best and provides well balanced and fluid educational programs placing an emphasis on all aspects of the Australian Curriculum. Students are accommodated in six learning units: Little Burra, Murrumbidgee, Brindabella, Yerrabi, Tidbinbilla and Namadgi. These assets are valued and taught to students so they can be literate, numerate and active members of our community. Bonython Primary School has a strong commitment to environmentally sustainable practices, celebrating and embracing the diversity of their community and nurturing connections to Country. Collaborative partnerships with families enhance a sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming. The school believes that education is a partnership between school and home and greatly appreciate the active role that families and community partnerships can play in developing students to be the leaders of tomorrow.
