Advertising Council Australia (ACA) is the peak body for Australia’s leading advertising agencies. 
We are seeking a agile and passionate Professional Development Manager who thrives on nurturing emerging talent, building careers, and working in a team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in promoting, administering, and delivering our professional development program called AdSchool. With a goal-oriented mindset, you’ll tackle challenges head-on and proactively seek innovative strategies to achieve results. 
In this role, you will regularly engage with member agencies, focusing on promoting courses and maintaining ongoing communication with participants, potential participants, facilitators and speakers. Your ability to foster strong relationships will be key to the success of our programs. 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supporting professional development initiatives, including organising and hosting impactful events. Your experience will be instrumental in creating an engaging environment that promotes growth and learning.

Support the Head of Professional Development (HPD) in boosting engagement and registrations for ACA’s PD program, and assist with delivering AdSchool courses both in-person and virtually.Collaborate with HPD to conduct program reviews/development, overhaul programs, and confirm facilitator/speaker/participant resources.Assist with streamlining PD tools (Learn Portal/Content Hub) as well as scoping/rolling out of a new technology (LMS)Provide internal administration for AdSchool to ensure seamless operations.Promote and sell courses to leads, members, and non-members with enthusiasm, driving engagement and achieving goals.Support State Managers in weekly updates and coordinate sales efforts through calls, emails, and chasing payments.Maintain course details, enrolments, and leads using training management software (Arlo), including database management and basic financial tracking.Update website content (WordPress) and provide social media support to amplify our programs. 
Skills, Experience and Education required 
Minimum 5 years of experience working in training, event or project management roleExperience with CRM, LMS programs - Klaviyo experience a bonus!Excellent communication skillsDemonstrated attention to detailNatural customer service focus, comfortable with responding to questions and providing advice both on the phone and via emailAbility to juggle multiple tasks and work to deadlinesInitiative and problem-solving abilitiesAble to work without supervision but also a great team playerWillingness to work flexibly as some activity is delivered outside of normal business hours (Lectures / etc – occasional circumstances) 
Desired experience (but not essential): 
Advertising / Industry BodyDigital marketing / social media experienceKnowledge and experience in using Google Suite, WordPress and Klaviyo
