Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, expense claims, and credit card coding.
* Maintain the AP inbox and ensure timely responses to internal and external queries.
* Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Support team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:
* Minimum 2 years' work experience in Accounts Payable
* Strong problem-solving, analytical and computer skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise certain tasks and follow up when required
* Be able to work effectively in a close-knit team whilst also having the ability to work autonomously when required
* Strong communication skills - verbal and written
* Positive 'can-do' attitude
