We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across Currumbin, in QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.ResponsibilitiesAccompany clients during daily activities, running errands and going on outingsFood preparation and shoppingAssisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressingPerforming household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothesProviding social interaction and companionshipTransport to appointmentsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will ideally have:Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification – essentialPrevious experience in aged care or disability – at least one yearHold an NDIS clearance – or willing to obtainHold a COVID-19 vaccinationCurrent police check – or willing to obtainCurrent first aid certificate including CPR – or willing to obtainMust have own car & relevant insurancesDementia care qualification – desirableProficient verbal and written communication skillsAbout UsSanctuary Care has joined forces with Mounties Care, part of Mounties Group, Australia's #1 registered club group.
