We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations at our Yatala site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all operational activities, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery for our valued customers. A dynamic role, where everyday is different, your duties will include:
* Manage and control operations for the customer, ensuring a safe working environment coupled with cost effective operational activities
* Ensuring customer satisfactionthrough excellent service delivery
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external
* Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams
* Ensure customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met, and correct action is taken to rectify

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Superior knowledge and proven experience of Transport operations
* Experience in leading and managing a team across daily operations, development, and succession planning
* Exceptional end to end knowledge of supply chain operations, with a background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal andexternal stakeholders
* Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
* Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
* Experience withWMS systems- ideally Manhattan
