The Opportunity
The purpose of the Project Supervisor is to safely manage the daily site operations of assigned projects, coordinating relevant trades to ensure required works, as directed by the Project Manager, are executed within the specified timeframes, on budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior supervisory position aims to develop personnel through mentoring and training, preparing them to become Project Managers.
What's Involved
1. Plan daily and weekly task requirements for your team.
2. Identify potential risks or constraints that may impact task delivery and consult with key stakeholders.
3. Assist in the compilation and submission of OQE as required.
4. Monitor execution of procedures and provide feedback to the QA department to ensure procedures are relevant to the tasks being performed.
5. Coordinate subcontractors, including requesting quotations, raising POs, and ensuring works are conducted according to work specifications.
You'll need
Essential
1. Hold a Construction Safety Induction (white card).
2. Trade qualification in a relevant field.
3. Experience in a supervisory role.
Desirable
1. Defence/Commercial experience.
2. Maintenance operations experience in Marine/Ship Repair.
