The role: 
We're looking for someone with a strategic & commercial mindset to take the parts we've built already, combine them with recent ideas, and come up with a plan for our next phase of growth. Most importantly, you'll have the persistence, attitude and desire to get stuck in and deliver your plan. 
You'll own the customer acquisition strategy from start to finish, whether it impacts sales, marketing, product, partnerships or retention. You'll develop plans and strategies identifying and exploiting any opportunities that can deliver sustainable growth in an ever-changing and increasingly competitive market. 
Key responsibilities: 
Develop and drive a growth strategy that achieves the growth targets 
Identify partnerships that fit with our objectives to deliver sustainable growth 
Analyse the market, provide insights, and identify opportunities for us to exploit 
Review our product mix and recommend enhancements with evidence to support them 
Assess customer retention performance and lead activities to improve it 
Manage the budget allocated for growth 
Key requirements: 
Proven experience:Demonstrated experience growing a consumer brand 
Relationship management: experience working with sales channels and/or developing partnerships to support growth strategies 
Energy market experience:Rounded experience of the retail energy market, coupled with a passion for renewable energy and the drive to improve Australia's energy system 
Customer focus:Passionate about ensuring great outcomes for customers 
Commercial acumen:Ability to ensure growth is achieved in a sustainable way 
Driven:results orientated with focus on pace, outcomes, and mínimal bureaucracy 
Problem solving:Ability to define and simplify complex problems, and design and implement practical solutions
