Group Booking Coordinator Job Opportunity
Job Summary: Oversee group reservations, handle customer inquiries, promote hotel services, and facilitate team collaboration.
* Coordinate group bookings of 10 rooms or more, including PCO groups.
* Communicate with customers via phone or email to address their queries.
* Promote hotel facilities through tailored site inspections to increase sales.
* Prepare group information sheets and generate BEOs prior to arrival.
* Manage payments and invoicing for financial administration.
* Monitor group inventory and potential business wash for effective inventory management.
* Compile reports for the Revenue Manager and General Manager on forecasting and revenue growth.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Facilitate interdepartmental coordination and maintain strong communication across departments.
* Participate in hotel training and departmental meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
* Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Maintain high standards of service for VIP loyalty programs like ALL – Accor Live Limitless.
* Assist with confidential group contracts as required.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a group reservations role within a hotel environment. Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud and ResaWeb. Proven ability to manage group bookings and coordinate room blocks effectively. Strong understanding of hotel operations, including room inventory, rate structures, and reservation policies. Excellent communication and administrative skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. Customer-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Knowledge of Accor standards and ALL Loyalty Program an advantage.
