1) Sheet Metal Worker Tasks and Responsibilities: Fabricating sheet metal products based on technical drawings Cutting, bending and stamping sheet metal in accordance with design instructions Installing and assembling sheet metal products, using joining techniques such as welding, bolting and riveting Performing routine and unplanned maintenance on sheet metal products Repairing sheet metal panels Install sheetmetal, wall and roof panels. Skills and Experience: Ability to design and fabricate sheet metal products, such as ducting, piping and tubing Ability to read technical drawings Knowledge of sheet metal assembly techniques Ability to use machine tools and bench top tools equipment Strength and stamina Manual skills and precision 2) Carpenters Responsibilities: • Carefully study blueprints and sketches • Execute measuring activities. • Cut, shape and smooth the needed material. • Build stairways, doors and window frames, partitions and rafters. • Carve and assemble furniture, kitchen cabinets, siding and drywall. • Install items where designated. • Conduct repairs and maintenance. • Layout floorings, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible. Requirements: • Previous working experience as a carpenter • In-depth knowledge of different with carpentry materials and techniques • Hands on experience with appropriate electrical tools • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Good physical condition and manual dexterity • High school diploma or tertiary qualification desirable • Completed carpentry apprenticeship. 3) Welder Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines. Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. Maintain and repair all machinery in a manner that does not compromise safety. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors. Plan layouts and procedures. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature. Report any damages on machines or equipment. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to determine any flaws. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Requirements: A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder or similar fabrication role. Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools. 2 years of experience using a variety of welding equipment, machinery and procedures (TIG, MMA etc. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings and designs. Good knowledge of and adherence with safety standards Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Outstanding attention to detail. Team player and good time management and communication skills Professional Certification (e.g. welding certificate) will be a plus. 4) Chef Responsibilities: Assists in the planning of menus and determining food quantities and costs Prepares and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience Monitors food quality and presentation Manages and trains Cooks and Kitchenhands in food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety Orders and maintains inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring it meets daily production needs Collaborates with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes Coordinates with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food service Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen 5) Camp Manager Responsibilities: Client liaison – interacting with the client’s representative on-site to ensure all of MSC’s contractual obligations are met. Managing the camp operations Holding daily Tool Box Meetings and documenting those meetings. Ensuring that staff follow the work processes relating to each work activity contained within this manual Ensuring staff complete the required check lists as per the Camp Management Plan & the Food Management Plan and that these lists are completed as the work is done Managing and ordering potable water & fuel to ensure that there are adequate supplies on-site Forwarding all food orders to Head Office and ensuring there is sufficient food on hand for 2 weeks. Manage the accommodation booking system including room allocation Conduct inductions for all new guests arriving in camp as per the MSC Camp Induction & Covid Plan. Inductions are to be held in an appropriate place – Recreation Room Ensure all meals are prepared as per the three-week Revolving Menu Handover notes Ensure that all maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner Ensure that all Daily Essential Services Checks are done by the maintenance man Any Incidents, Accidents, Hazards or other Policy breaches are to be recorded on the appropriate Forms with a copy sent to Head Office. Manage any other duties as directed by MS Contracting Management.
