The Position
We are seeking a skilled Food Technologist to join our Quality and New Product Development (NPD) team at our Narangba facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in food science and technology, who is passionate about food safety and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a key member of the Quality and NPD team.
* Provide operational coverage within the quality team, including:
* Quality checks
* Product evaluations
* Internal audits
* Raw material and finished product testing
* Assist in new product creation, validation, and commercialisation for products and packaging.
* Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, and QA/Technical teams to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety throughout the development cycle.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
* Experience in the pet food industry is highly advantageous with experience in pet food nutrition.
* Highly motivated and self-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive, proactive approach.
