About the role
We are seeking experienced Motor Mechanics to join our team at Southern Engine Reconditioning in Kembla Grange, NSW. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair (including engine removal and install) and servicing of a wide range of vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in the automotive industry and contribute to the success of our well-established business, trading for more then 50 years!
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles
* Perform checkovers for engine installations
* Communicate effectively with the mechanical team and provide solutions in a timely manner
* Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
* Confident in whole engine removal and install (Essential)
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications and experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Certificate III Automotive qualification required
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Commitment to safety and attention to detail
* Passion for the automotive industry and a desire to continually learn and improve
* Permanent resident status required
* Drivers licence essential
