About the Role
As an
Operations Supervisor
, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day warehousing operations while upholding compliance, safety, and service excellence. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction and the team's ability to meet financial and operational targets.
* Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff to meet performance objectives
* Ensure adherence to WH&S policies and ISO quality standards
* Optimise resource planning, rostering, and labour allocation to drive productivity
* Oversee staff development, coaching, performance reviews, and recruitment activities
* Support business development and client proposals with operational insights and costings
* Maintain operational procedures, recommend process improvements, and uphold system compliance
About You
You're a hands-on logistics leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. With strong experience in warehouse or freight forwarding operations, you bring a balance of people leadership, system knowledge, and customer focus.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
* Strong working knowledge of WMS and transport systems
* Skilled in rostering, resource planning, and warehouse compliance
* Proven track record in customer relationship management
* Familiar with logistics legislation and safety protocols (OH&S)
* Advanced MS Office and warehouse software experience
* Forklift license preferred
* Australian working rights required
