Based within the Belconnen Youth Centre and broader Child and Family Services team, you'll work within the Advantaged Thinking Framework and contribute to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments where young people can connect, grow, and participate in their communities.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Contributing to program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement
* Building positive relationships with young people and coordinating referrals and support with schools, community organisations, and other stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A Bachelor or Master of Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Experience working with children, young people experiencing mental health or wellbeing challenges
* Knowledge of strengths‐based, trauma‐informed, and child‐centred practice approaches
* Experience delivering individual counselling and/or therapeutic interventions

* Access to salary packaging up to $15,900
* Up to 3 additional leave days between Christmas and New Year
* Commitment to supporting your professional development
* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
