About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to play a key role in the development, maintenance, and support of our People & Culture applications and systems. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with leadership, mentoring, and operational responsibility. As a senior member of the team, you will lead complex development initiatives, provide Level 3 support, and act as an escalation point for resolving challenging technical issues. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
Your responsibilities
* Designing, building, and enhancing enterprise-grade Oracle APEX applications supporting compliance and workforce operations.
* Developing robust data models, PL/SQL logic, and secure APEX components.
* Integrating APEX solutions with other enterprise systems via APIs and web services.
* Providing senior technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, and development standards.
* Supporting production systems at a Level 3 capacity, including root cause analysis and remediation.
* Collaborating closely with stakeholders across People and Culture and Technology.
Who we are looking for / Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated advanced experience with Oracle APEX in production environments.
* Strong PL/SQL and SQL expertise, including performance optimisation.
* Experience delivering complex applications across the full development lifecycle.
* Proven ability to operate as a senior technical specialist and mentor.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
Role Requirements
* As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
