SAP S/4HANA Senior HCM Consultant (Australia/New Zealand)

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Senior HCM Consultant Professional to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility for full‑time employment and may involve travel to New Zealand as required.
The SAP S/4HANA Senior HCM Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions within S/4HANA environments. The focus is on optimizing HR processes such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, Payroll, and Employee Self‑Service, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and compliance with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end SAP HCM implementation within S/4HANA projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go‑live support.
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP HCM modules.
* Configure and customize HCM components such as:
o Organizational Management (OM)
o Time Management (PT)
o Payroll (PY)
o ESS/MSS
* Conduct workshops with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and provide best‑practice solutions.
* Ensure integration with Finance, Payroll, and SuccessFactors where applicable.
* Prepare and execute testing strategies (SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs).
* Support data migration activities for HCM‑related data during S/4HANA transformation.
* Develop training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to HR and IT teams.
* Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshooting, and optimization of HCM processes.
* Maintain compliance with labor laws, data security, and organizational policies.
Required Skill & Qualifications
* 10+ years in SAP HCM implementations, with at least 4+ years in S/4HANA projects.
* Strong expertise in Time Management and Payroll configuration.
* Hands‑on experience with WRICEF objects, schemas, rules, and integration points.
* Knowledge of data migration tools and processes for HCM.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.
* Certifications in SAP HCM or S/4HANA.
