About the Role
As a Construction Project Manager at IDS Design and Construction Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for managing and delivering commercial fit-out and construction projects across Victoria. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, coordination, construction delivery and project handover. This is a full-time position based in Laverton North, Victoria.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and procurement schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities across multiple projects
- Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed on time within budget
- Review construction drawings and assist in resolving site coordination issues
- Attend site visits and support in office coordination when required
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with safety and building requirements
What We're Looking For
- Construction-related qualification in construction management or similar
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the commercial construction or fit-out industry
- Strong project coordination and subcontractor management skills
- Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations
- Proficient in computer and project management skills
- Current White Card and Australian driver's license
