Join Brooks Automation as a Graduate Mechatronics Engineer to design and develop innovative electro-mechanical devices supporting semiconductor and life sciences markets.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Support the design and development of electro-mechanical devices for new and existing products
* Assist in testing, verifying, and validating electro-mechanical assemblies, prototypes, and system components
* Perform root-cause analysis, diagnostics, and test result documentation to support continuous improvement
* Work closely with senior engineers to ensure designs meet cost, quality, compliance, and schedule requirements
* Drive continuous improvement in product design, manufacturability, and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new features and enhance current products
* Participate in hands-on prototype builds, system evaluations, and pre-production testing
* Occasionally travel domestically or internationally as required
About You
The company is looking for:
* Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar
* Knowledge or experience in designing, testing, or supporting electro-mechanical systems highly regarded
* Ability to interpret test results and identify potential design improvements
* Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and diagnostic skills
* Hands-on mindset with curiosity and a drive to learn
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Understanding of mechanical and electrical components (active and passive)
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
