Our client is a well-known and trusted national distributor and manufacturer of low voltage (LV) electrical installation products and consumables. You will be representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded by Electrical Contractors and distributed through our Wholesale Partners across Australia.
The position
Responsible for driving sales growth across the greater Melbourne area, this role focuses on building strong technical relationships with consultants, contractors, and EPCs.
You'll execute strategic sales activity, provide technical product support, and maximise sales opportunities across the LV product range to grow our position in this market.
Duties include
* Build long‑term relationships with new and existing customers (consultants, contractors, and EPCs).
* Represent the entire LV product offering, with a focus on circuit protection.
* Actively seek new business with prospective clients.
* Promote products and solutions by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of a specific market/industry.
* Attend and contribute to conferences, meetings and industry events as required.
Skills & experience required
* An electrical trade or engineering qualification is preferred, but not essential.
* An electrical sales background with strong LV circuit protection knowledge is essential.
* Current industry relationships are essential.
* A proven track record of achieving sales budgets and targets.
* Experience using and maintaining CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
