About the role

As the Administration Officer, Reception Support with BreastScreen SA, you will be part of a service dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of South Australian women through early detection of breast cancer. Supporting screening clinics and the metro mobile screening unit, you will ensure every client is welcomed with professionalism, sensitivity and care. Your role will be central to creating a smooth and reassuring experience, with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality and customer service in all reception and data entry activities.

Working closely with Radiographer staff and the broader team, you will use established IT systems to process client information efficiently, maintain high-quality records and contribute to the overall effectiveness of BSSA's screening services. You will assist with inquiries and complaints, escalating matters appropriately, and play an important part in quality assurance monitoring and reporting.

Key Requirements

* Administration capability & client experience – Demonstrated experience providing confidential, high-quality administrative support in a client-focused organisation, with sound understanding of customer service principles.
* Task management, accuracy & autonomy – Ability to plan and prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, work under pressure with strong attention to detail, and apply initiative and judgement within established guidelines.
* Communication & teamwork – Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, and to collaborate successfully within a multidisciplinary team.
* Systems proficiency & confidentiality – Strong computer skills, accurate typing, experience using multiple applications, and understanding of confidentiality and information security requirements.
