Transport Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee our outbound parcel-delivery operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating your team to achieve maximum efficiency from our operational sites.

The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences by achieving maximum efficiency from our operational sites. As a Transport Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our delivery operations run smoothly and efficiently.
* Monitor and audit plans for Delivery Service Partners, including staffing, schedules, quality initiatives, and performance levels.
* Promote best practice and continuous process improvements across your team in areas like health and safety and productivity.
* Ensure there is on-the-road capacity for deliveries including during peak business times.
Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include:
1. Managing a specific sortation area that handles parcels or parcel delivery.
2. Working with a variety of delivery service partners to get packages out to customers.
3. Implementing the operational plan for your department and assisting with multiple continuous improvement projects throughout the year.

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience leading and managing a team.
* 5+ years of managing and developing high-performance teams experience.
