The Visitor Information Centre Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operations of the Top End Visitor Information Centre (VIC). This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional visitor experiences, driving sales outcomes, and representing Tourism Top End and its members at the frontline of the region's tourism industry.
As a key member of the Association's management team, the role leads and inspires a high-performing team to provide accurate, engaging, and memorable visitor servicing while ensuring strong operational and financial performance.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role at the frontline of the region's tourism industry, responsible for delivering outstanding visitor experiences, driving sales performance, and leading a high-performing team.
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the Top End Visitor Information Centre
* Inspire, train, and develop a customer-focused team and volunteers
* Deliver exceptional visitor servicing and accurate destination information
* Drive sales, bookings, and retail performance for Tourism Top End members
* Ensure fair and equitable representation of member products and services
* Oversee operational, financial, and compliance requirements
* Maintain a welcoming, engaging retail and visitor experience
* Represent Tourism Top End at industry events and networking opportunities
* Manage a seven-day-a-week operation, including rostering and staffing

About You
You're a confident leader who thrives in a public-facing, fast-paced environment and genuinely loves tourism.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience leading a customer service, tourism, hospitality, or retail team
* Strong knowledge of the Top End region (or the ability to learn it quickly)
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Sales and commercial acumen, with experience meeting targets
* Sound understanding of workplace relations and staff management
* Strong organisational and computer skills
* The flexibility to manage a seven-day-a-week operation
